1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Local storage" is a related technology that stores small pieces of data in your browser. Both let a site remember information between visits or actions. We use only a minimal set of these technologies.

2. How we ask for your consent

When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Analytics are loaded only if you click "Accept". If you click "Decline", no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. Strictly necessary storage (see below) is used regardless, because the site cannot function without it.

3. What we use and why

a) Strictly necessary (always on)

We store two small values in your browser's local storage: your cookie choice (so we don't ask again on every visit) and your language preference (EN/RU). These do not track you across sites and are not used for advertising.

  • ih-consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. Stored until you clear it.
  • ih-lang — remembers your chosen language. Stored until you clear it.

b) Analytics (only after you accept)

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — for example which pages are viewed and where traffic comes from. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<id>) and we enable IP anonymisation. These help us improve the site; they are not used to identify you personally by us.

4. Third-party cookies

The analytics cookies above are set by Google. If you follow links from our site to third parties (for example WhatsApp, Telegram or social platforms), those services may set their own cookies governed by their own policies, which we do not control.

5. Managing your choices

You can:

  • Change your mind — clear this site's storage in your browser and the consent banner will appear again on your next visit, letting you choose differently.
  • Block or delete cookies — use your browser settings to block or remove cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary storage may affect how the site remembers your preferences.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics — install Google's browser opt-out add-on.
